Shape adult health behavior

The Health Patterns are found within every populated region of the United States. How adults respond to health-related contexts or situations is shaped by these patterns. Adaptive health behavior is drawn into conformity with these patterns the same way everywhere. 

the Patterns of least resistance

  • Why do we walk forward rather than stepping sideways or walking backwards? 
  • Why do we walk on the sidewalk and not on the curb?
  • ​Why do we pull a wagon in the direction of the wheels and not sideways? ​
  • The answer to all three questions is the same:
    • It's easier, more efficient, requires less energy, and gets better results.
